Travelling Together

Creative play sessions for 3 - 5 year olds. Create a magical landscape / seascape and take paper boats on journeys inspired by the Jumblies and their giant sieve ship with its pea-green sail. Booking recommended - 023 9283 4744.

Free admission.

Tuesday 6 October  

The Teddy Bear Doctors 

10.30am - 2.30pm

Bring your teddy bear along for free advice on identification, age or 'clinical needs' from local bear experts and restorers, Julie and Amanda from Bear It In Mind.  Demonstrations of traditional bear making techniques throughout the day.  Small charge for minor repairs made on the day such as eye replacements or claw stitching.

Free.  Drop-in, no need to book.  All welcome.

Sunday 11 October 

Travelling Together Down Memory Lane - story sharing session for men and women aged 60+

11am - 3pm

Take a trip down memory lane and share your stories of journeys around Portsmouth and beyond over tea and biscuits.

Free.  Everyone aged 60+ welcome.

Square Eyes - family craft activities

11am - 3pm

Enjoy art and craft activities inspired by children's TV past and present.  In true Blue Peter style use cardboard boxes, plastic bottles and sticky backed plastic to create a mini TV set plus your favourite TV character and much more besides.

A Creation Station workshop suitable for children aged 2 - 11 years.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Drop-in, no need to book.  £3 per child or £1.75 with Portsmouth Leisure Card.
