Wildlife in spring
Family activities with Southsea Wildlife Watch
Fun wildlife-themed games and activities for children aged 5 - 14. All children must be accompanied by an adult and adults are encouraged to join in.
The session may include a visit to the gardens behind the museum so please wrap up warmly and wear sturdy shoes or wellies.
10am - 12noon
Cost: £4 donation per child. Booking not required but places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Edward King & St James - mental health care in Portsmouth 1926 to 1951
A talk by Christine Lawrence
In 1926 the artist Edward King was admitted to St James' Hospital, previously known as the Borough of Portsmouth Lunatic Asylum. He remained there until his death in 1951. Christine Lawrence worked as a psychiatric nurse for over 40 years. Drawing on her experience of working at St James' and at Knowle Hospital in Fareham she will talk about Edward King's life as a patient at St James'.
This is a repeat of Christine's talk on 11th February when we were unable to accommodated everyone hoping to attend.
