I Saw my Voice
New writing inspired by the life and art of Edward King

Join us for an informal celebration of new writing produced by participants in I Saw my Voice, a series of writing for well-being workshops led by Maggie Sawkins. The readers will stand alongside the paintings of 1940s Portsmouth by Edward King that inspired their work. 

This is an informal, non-seated event. 

Free. All welcome. No need to book.

Life on the water's edge
Discovering Milton's hidden seashore

Join us for the premiere of a new short film celebrating the tranquil beauty of Milton's hidden seashore. Enjoy family activities and view Edward King's atmospheric paintings of the houseboats at Milton Locks in the 1940s.
Event delivered in partnership with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust and Strong Island. Supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Free. All welcome. No need to book.
